Tecknology and I

I have been slow in the field of tecknological advancements. I got my first cd player in my sophomore year of high school and I still have it. I remain in the dark regarding home internet acess. Last year I got a cell phone for the first time and it is a prepayed phone so it isn't even up to date. Actually the comany doesn't even make the phone I use any more. I believe this is becuase of my parents. My parents are very old fashioned and have never seen the need to change. In other words if our method works then why change it and have to spend more money to change it. Also, if the opportunity doen't show up at my parents door to do something new they will not try to find out a way. I guess I mean that if they do not know how to do someting they will not try and find out how unless they have to.
On the other hand when my Mother go ther first cell phone it took her a while to figure it out but she ended up talk ing on her phone all the time. This does not mean she will answer her phone EVER. It just means that she has it with her in order for her to call others. Also, she still does not know all the tools that her phone has and offers, she can call people and that is all she wants to do. FOr me I love my phone even if it is not made any more. I call people rarely because I have to use my minutes, but I like figureing out all the neat things it have to offer.
In the last year I established my first e-mail account and that also took me awhile to figure out, in the last month I learned out how to attach a document to an email. I know this is strange for a nineteen year old to say but it is true. I contunually learn more about computers and tecknology every day.
