I have my pod cast on my purdue space.

reflection

For the hypertext I was confused about the entire project. I did not understand all the requirements and how they were to be formatted on the paper. I ended up not doing well on the project overall. I believe I was too concerned with the technology and I lacked on the writing portion. I think that this project should be taken step by step each day allowing every student to understand what they are doing. I would not want students to be left in the dark on the tecknology. Considering that for most people it is the first time to use this kind of progam and their first time formatting a paper in this way I think that taking it slower would have been benifitial. Later projects could be more independent as the students are more familiar with the progam. I would have liked this assignement better if I had understood the technology. Overall I believe that it took me the time spent on the hypertext to figure out how to use the macromedia program. Hopefully the next project goes better than the last.

Proposal

We know that pollution causes bad air to breath, but we continue to harm our lungs. I am a supporter of removing letter grades form student evaluation. I will be writing about letter grades and whether or not hey should be removed form student evaluation. There are both positive and negative aspects to getting rid of letter grades. I will research to find out if letter grades help support student sucess or if they hinder stuents understanding of the topics discussed in the classroom. Two different sides are associated with letter grades the supporters and those that object the standard system of evaluation. I will be discussing each side to show the point of view and arguments of each side. This should help to understand why I support the removing of letter grades. I will also discuss the alternative grading systems for teachers. As well as the cost of the change of replacing the system of evaluation in the school system. The question I have is, Do letter grades cause students to challenge their learning ability or settle for the easy grade.
